For me, skulls and skeletons have always carried a quiet reminder that everything is fleeting — that in the end, nothing holds permanent weight once we’re gone. As I created this illustration project, I poured in the emotions stirred by certain life experiences, moments that left me feeling both numb and deeply aware. I used the imagery of skulls and skeletons to translate these internal states into visual form. Turning these drawings into tarot cards felt natural, as tarot holds a space for exploring possibilities, outcomes, and the ripple effects of people and events. Through this project, I found a powerful way to give shape to my emotions and express myself artistically.
